5 Waves of Change People with Brain Injuries Face
I was on a wonderful road trip with my daughter and granddaughter when my phone exploded with calls and texts. Dear friends were trying to contact me to let me know that someone had found my husband Cal’s phone on a bike trail. It turns out Cal crashed his bike, hit his head, then rode off, not realizing how injured he was. Even though he was wearing his helmet, he suffered a traumatic brain injury (TBI). We’re on a long journey together facing the impact of TBI on both of our lives, a journey that will continue the rest of our lives.

We are pleased to introduce you to my dear friend and colleague, Lori Weisman, MA, LMHC. She has been such a great resource for information and support along our journey with TBI.
