Conference Overview

The Tourette Association National Conference is the only time when people with Tourette Syndrome & Tic Disorders can come together in a warm, family-like atmosphere to learn from the nation’s preeminent clinicians, researchers, educators, and other professionals in the field.  Attendees gain support, build friendships, and share experiences with their peers. The National Conference is attended by families and individuals with Tourette Syndrome, Educators, Professionals, Leaders and Volunteers who come from across the nation and around the world and is the largest gathering of its kind.

The Conference offers sessions for adults & teens with TS, parents, and professionals on a variety of topics grouped by track.

  • Medical & Behavioral – focuses on leading medical & behavioral treatment approaches for TS and its co-occurring disorders.
  • Education – provides tools, resources and guidance on educating the educators.
  • Adult – speakers address a variety of personal and professional issues facing adults with TS. Parenting – panelists speak first-hand about struggles, successes and guidance on raising a child with TS.
  • Teen (for teens with TS and their siblings, ages 14-18) – for navigating through the challenging years.
