So much has happened since then
It's quickly approaching two full years since I closed the door of my therapy office and started seeing clients online instead of in person.
At that same time, the schools here in Utah announced that they were closing for two weeks. One of my daughters who teaches high school art thought about what she had been reading in the news and decided to take everything with her that she would need to teach remotely for an extended period. Other seasoned teachers laughed and said there was no way that schools would stay closed longer than those first two weeks.
Of course, we all know that they were wrong.
So much has happened since then.
And that is why I'm so pleased to let you know that The Couples Institute, founded by my dear friends and colleagues Ellyn Bader and Pete Pearson (creators of the Developmental Model of Couples Therapy), will be offering a free webinar in late March on the stresses of COVID, especially as they relate to families. They will also be sharing tools and strategies to support families. I'll send you registration information about the webinar once I have it. Their team has developed this survey and are hoping to learn first-hand from families like you about your experiences. I'd be so grateful (and so would they) if you would complete this survey by February 22. Thank you for considering this.
Here's to more resilient wins at home and school,
Anne
